The term "Fashion" in the Zen Portal is a loose term to describe a grouping of items that is not a one-to-one relationship. The most common example of this is in fashion where each item of clothing belongs to a style which has a colour and size. Items can then be reported on by style, colour or size. The Fashion package can be applied to any grouping that requires such a matrix-style relationship. In this topic we will discuss the maintenance of the Fashion package.

 

This topic is concerned with the Fashion Maintenance section of the Site Menu. The Site Menu can be opened by selecting Menus and Sites from the Navigation Menu. Open the Fashion Maintenance section by selecting the link provided. Note that this section is only visible if the Company Option in the Inventory section named Enable Colour Information is set to true. It should also be pointed out that the terms Fashion, Style, Colour and Size are all soft descriptions that can be changed in the Fashion section of the Company Options.

 

 

The Fashion Maintenance section of the Site Menu provides three reports:

 

 

 

Select a Colour Description to open the Colour Maintenance screen, allowing you to edit the details of the selected colour. Alternatively, use the Create New Colour Reference to enter the details for a new colour for the Company in the Colour Maintenance screen. Enter or select a Colour Reference to create or edit a colour respectively and enter the Colour Description to be used in the Portal. Press the Save button to save the details of the reference to the Portal or the Reset button to revert the changes to the last save. The New button can be used to create a new reference from this screen when editing a colour and the Delete button can be used to remove the selected colour from the Portal.

 

 

 

 

Select a Size Description to open the Size Maintenance screen, allowing you to edit the details of the selected size. Alternatively, use the Create New Size Reference to enter the details for a new colour for the Company in the Size Maintenance screen. Enter or select a Size reference to create or edit a size reference and enter the Size Description to be used in the Portal. Press the Save button to save the details of the reference to the Portal or the Reset button to revert the changes to the last save. The New button can be used to create a new reference from this screen when editing a reference and the Delete button can be used to remove the selected size reference from the Portal.
