Tutorial: Point of Sale Reports |
The Portal provides two useful POS Reports that can be used to track "no sales" (where the cash drawer is opened without making a sale) and employee login and logout times. In this tutorial we will investigate the POS Reports in detail.
This tutorial investigates the Reports section of the Point of Sale Menu. To navigate to the Point of Sale Menu, select Menus followed by Point of Sale in the Navigation Menu. Click on the Reports link to open the Reports section. The Reports section contains two links, No Sales Report and Login Report, that open the two reports that we will be looking at in this tutorial. Click on the appropriate link to open the report that you wish to run.
The No Sales Report lists details of all no sales at the terminals in the selected State and Site during the specified period. Listed in the report is the Clerk Name, Terminal ID and Date and Time of the no sale. If all sites are being viewed, the Site Name is also displayed in the report. Clicking on an employee's Clerk Name will open the Employee Maintenance screen for the selected employee, allowing you to view or edit their details.
The Login Report provides details of each POS User's login and logout times at a selected Site on a specified Date. Details listed in the report include the Clerk Name, Company Name, Login Time and Logout Time. Selecting an employee's Clerk Name opens the Employee Maintenance screen, allowing you to view or edit their details.
In this tutorial we have discussed the use of the available Point of Sale reports. These reports can be used to track no sales in the system and monitor employee working hours.
